Round 6 of the Bemsee 2025 season was held at Snetterton circuit 30/31 August, the second visit this season, the first being round 3 in May.

Matt

Matt continues to mentor and instruct riders on the test day, however as it was monsoon-like on the Friday test day, he elected to not risk his bike in the wet - he's not chasing a championship this year, so why risk skittling his very pretty Fireblade?

Leigh

Leigh, #8 qualified 17th, just behind #69, Terry Smith, bringing home a P16 in Saturday's first race, held over 5 laps. Moving forward to Leigh's second race of Saturday and the weather was very changeable, it was all about tyre choice, and with minutes to spare, the decision was made for Leigh to go out on full wets, however, typically for Snetterton, the rain stopped and the wind whistling through dried the track, the tyre gamble didn't pay off. However, Leigh finished in P11, just behind Terry Smith.

Sunday's programme for Thunderbike sport kicked off with a 6 lap race where Leigh came in 15th, the afternoon race, finishing 13th, ahead of Terry Smith.

Tom
Tom recently celebrated his 54th birthday and swapped numbers with fellow competitor Jake Anderton who ran Tom's usual #74 whilst Tom ran under #54.

Saturday's Clubman 600 race was over 10 laps, Tom came in 4th, for this class there was only one race on Saturday, held over a longer distance, with two shorter races on Sunday.

Sunday's races saw Tom come in 4th (7lap) and 5th (7lap). A consistent weekend's racing.
