Frazer Lysaczenko Beats Bob at Brands Hatch!
Lamonde Automation Supports the Beat Bob Challenge with £500 Worth of Wera Tools
The challenge was simple - Beat Bob! But as anyone familiar with Bob Collins and his racing exploits will know, that is often easier said than done! The Beat Bob Challenge at the British Motorcycle Racing Club's (Bemsee) final round of 2026 at Brands Hatch gave rookie competitors the opportunity to beat Bob's rookie 600 record of 49.074 seconds, set in 2003, with an impressive prize pot valued at £15,000 adding a little extra incentive!
Several riders were up to and up for the challenge. However, ultimately, it was Frazer Lysaczenko, who rose to the occasion and successfully beat Bob Collins' 2003 lap record at the iconic Kent circuit, with an incredible lap time of 48.946 seconds. With the pressure on and bragging rights at stake, Frazer delivered the performance needed to claim victory in the challenge, earning himself not only the satisfaction of beating Bob but also a the fantastic prizes on offer.
Lamonde Automation Limited was delighted to support the Beat Bob Challenge, contributing £500 worth of premium Wera tools to the prize pot. As a supplier of Wera's innovative, high-quality hand tools, Lamonde was pleased to put something back into the motorcycle racing community. Whether it's in the workshop, the paddock or the pit garage, having the right tools for the job makes all the difference, and Wera's reputation for quality and clever design makes them a firm favourite with engineers and mechanics alike.
Motorcycle racing is built on competition, camaraderie and a healthy dose of friendly rivalry, and the Beat Bob Challenge captured all three perfectly. Lamonde Automation is proud to have played a small part in making the event that little bit more special.
Congratulations to Frazer Lysaczenko on beating Bob, and well done to everyone involved in organising and supporting the challenge.
