PLC Units

Use as a standalone PLC or expand with up to 2 or 4 I/O modules max.

Productivity1000 PLC units (Mini PLCs) contain a microprocessor, memory storage, I/O terminations, and other integrated circuits used to execute the control program, store logic data, and communicate to external devices. The microprocessor follows a repeated sequence of operations that perform those functions and other internal processes.

The Productivity1000 Mini PLCs offer even more hardware options for the Productivity PLC family. As the first-ever standalone model for the Productivity family, the Mini PLCs combine the CPU and I/O into a single unit. Other Productivity series require you to buy the I/O and CPU separately, but with the Mini series, you get a choice of models with embedded discrete or analog/temperature I/O. This design provides significant cost savings, especially for smaller systems, and can be expanded if needed for larger systems. 17 models are available to choose from with different communication options, I/O types and capacities, and available memory storage.

  • Plug-and-play USB programming
  • Tag database and program documentation storage in CPU (program pre-loaded on PC not necessary)
  • Supports up to five built-in communications ports simultaneously
  • High-speed Ethernet port for HMI and peer-to-peer or business system networking (no Ethernet communications module needed) (P1-M412/M622 series only)
  • Support for Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and MQTTS connections (depending on model)
  • Up to two serial ports for peripheral device interface or controller networking
  • Micro SD data logging with select PLCs
  • Remote I/O port (P1-M622 series only) for up to (16) GS series drive connections, (1) PS-AMC motion controller, or hundreds of additional remote I/O points using the P1-RX remote expansion module and/or the Protos X field I/O system
