Then why not use the Teltonika DAP140 Industrial Wireless Access Point?
It is important to follow these instructions in the precise order, because if you disable the routers DHCP server prematurely you may lose access to the DAP140.
Ensure your DAP140 is running the current version of firmware. You will then need to navigate to Systemà Package Manager and install the Relay Configuration package.


Next you will need to connect the router to your wireless WAN. Navigate to
NetworkàWirelessàSSIDs and press the ‘Scan 2.4GHz’ button.


You will then need to locate your wireless access point, select ‘Join Network’ and enter your WPA passphrase when prompted


The next window to appear will be the Wireless client configuration. Most of the settings on here will be left unchanged. However, it is important you ensure that the mode is set to ‘Client’ and to take a note of the Network option (in this case, "wifi1".


Select ‘Save and Apply’ and if configured correctly, your DAP140 will now be running in Wireless Client mode.
Next, you will need to navigate to NetworkàWirelessàRelayd
Under the Add New Instance heading, select ‘LAN’ as the Interface, and press the ‘Add’ button. Under the Relay configuration heading, you will need to set the Interface as ‘LAN’, and the wireless interface as the network applied during your Wi-Fi connection. Enable the relay, then select ‘Save and Apply’


Finally, navigate to NetworkàLAN and select the edit button.


You will need to ensure that ‘Enable DHCPv4’ and ‘Enable DHCPv6’ are both set to off.


Once this is done, your DAP140 will function as a Network extender with a DHCP relay
