An ergonomic rear grip ensures comfortable handling and reduces fatigue during extended tasks.

Three built-in safety switches provide multiple layers of protection:

Key Switch – Limits operation to authorized personnel, strengthening access control.
Emergency Stop Switch –Instantly halts operations during malfunctions, offering manual safety protection.
3-Position Enable Switch – Prevents accidental activation from unintentional contact.

Flexible Connection Box Options for Easy Setup
To suit various installation scenarios, the cMT3106XM offers two connection box options:

Standard Connection Box (cMT-XMBS): Mounts outside control cabinets or on walls, with clear wiring and easy maintenance.
Compact Connection Box (cMT-XMBC): Houses all terminals and wiring within the control cabinet for a clean, organised setup

Both options are IP66-rated to protect crucial wiring against dust and water ingress.

To align with on-site workflows, both connection boxes support the cMT-XM-ESP E-Stop Bypass Plug. When the handheld HMI is detached, inserting the plug keeps the safety circuit closed—ensuring normal equipment operation and uninterrupted workflow.
