High performance microstepper drives with high torque stepper motors
SureStep® stepping systems provide simple and accurate control of position and speed where open-loop control and cost are considerations.
- Pulses (or "step" and "direction" signals) from an AutomationDirect PLC or other indexer motion controller are "translated" by the microstepping drive into precise movement of the stepping motor shaft.
- SureStep Advanced stepper drives accept pulse inputs, but they also can be commanded by an analog speed signal or by serial communication.
- SureStep serial communications control allows internal indexing (point-to-point moves), velocity control, run-to-sensor, etc.
- SureStep stepping motors use 2-phase technology with 200 full steps per revolution or 1.8" per full step.
- SureStep microstepping drives use advanced microstepping technology to smooth motor motion and stepping response in order to minimize vibration problems.
- The SureStep family has options for open loop control (no encoder), position monitoring (external encoder feedback), and inclusive position verification (integrated motor/drives with internal encoder).
- SureStep stepper motor, microstepper drive and power supply products provide low-cost, reliable, high quality solutions to positioning and motion control application requirements.
