Laser sensors use highly focused laser light to detect objects or measure distances, and can return a measured value regardless of ambient light, or the object's material, color or brightness. Laser sensors are available in diffuse, background suppression and retroreflective styles for object sensing, or with CMOS or transit time technologies for accurate distance measuring. |
